“Close to the city and lots of shops and retaurants, Designer Cottage is a perfect place to stay when visiting Christchurch. Steve, the host, is friendly and knowledgeable, and puts on a great breakfast spread in pretty surroundings. The cottage has a beautiful charm and all you could need – a home from home. I can highly recommend a stay here”.

“My wife and I traveled New Zealand for over a month and stayed in several B &B’s on both the north and south islands. The exceptional service, friendly and giving owners make Designer B &B the finest inn we encountered. Chad and Steve provide a clean, welcoming and calming environment in which to relax and recharge. Their breakfast is a feast while Marmite the feline adds an added touch of entertainment to the morning conversation. A special thank you to Chad for being such a kind and giving human; I injured my knee prior to visiting Designer and he took pity upon me and provided me with a cane to maneuver around Christchurch and then getting back to the states. Needless to say, my wife and I will be forever grateful for his kindness. Definitely our next trip to New Zealand will include a much longer stay at Designer B & B”.

“Steve and Chet are fantastic and it is easily to see how much they care about their customers. I felt I was staying with friends. If I could have stayed I would have stayed longer.
